The patent law firm Isenbruck | Bösl | Hörschler LLP emerged in January 2003 as a result of a spin-off of a major Intellectual Property law firm. In 2006 it received the JUVE Award 2006 as "Law Firm of the Year for Patent Law", which illustrates that the firm has since then established itself among the leading German Intellectual Property law firms.

Following the example of major International law firms, in January 2009 the firm became the first German patent law firm to continue its work as a Limited Liability Partnership under English law (abbreviated: LLP).

The firm has offices in Mannheim, Munich, and Düsseldorf and is thus present at the most important locations for prosecution and litigation of Intellectual Property rights in Germany. In cooperation with selected, highly qualified foreign associates, the firm provides full services worldwide.

The fields of practice include all aspects of the protection of Intellectual Property, notably the prosecution, defence and enforcement of patents, utility models, trademarks and designs as well as consulting clients in drafting and negotiating license and cooperation agreements. In addition, the firm assists clients in evaluating technology platforms and Intellectual Property portfolios. Isenbruck | Bösl | Hörschler LLP covers all technical fields and is especially versed in all aspects of chemistry, biotechnology, physics, mechanical and electrical engineering.

In litigation and other civil court proceedings the patent attorneys cooperate with highly recognized external attorneys-at-law.

Isenbruck | Bösl | Hörschler LLP advises important domestic and International clients. Clients include major corporations within key industries as well as start-up companies, the latter especially in the field of biotechnology.

The patent attorneys of the firm are committed to providing the highest standards in all areas of Intellectual Property with optimal cost-effectiveness in order to obtain the best results for clients in Europe and throughout the world.
